Basic policy on handling personal data
We understand that trust and confidentiality is a critical issue for our Clients. At Beyond Translation, we undertake to keep all information supplied by you strictly confidential.
Beyond Translation handles personal data that it collects independently; personal data provided by client companies; and personal data about our executives and employees and those of our affiliated companies appropriately in line with applicable laws, industry standards and Beyond Translation own internal regulations.
Basic principles for personal data protection
Beyond Translation has established and adheres to the following basic principles with regard to handling personal data.
- Your contact details or any other information you provide to Beyond Translation will not under any circumstances be sold, rented, loaned or otherwise disclosed to any third party without your written consent.
- No information or resource of yours will ever be used for any personal or commercial gain on the part of Beyond Translation and you will be advised immediately if any conflict of interest arises.
- To protect personal data, Beyond Translation has defined internal management and responsibility systems, and selected staff responsible for the management of personal information.
- Beyond Translation has built appropriate data systems, data management systems and other measures to prevent theft, loss, manipulation or destruction of personal data due to unauthorized access.
- Beyond Translation has established regulations regarding the safe and appropriate handling of personal data including viewing, utilization, storage, destruction and return of such data, and abides by these through the offices of staff responsible for the management of personal information.
- We will happily sign a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement should you require it. However, our Engagement Letter states a confidentiality clause and is executed by both parties prior to services commencing.
- Beyond Translation makes efforts to constantly improve by monitoring personal information management and responding to changes in the external environment.
